I am writing to you because I would like to share with you the great service we received from your company, specifically from JJ Burt and her team of Grant and Jeremiah.

In September, one of our rental properties was flooded due to a broken pipe on a sprinkler valve. The newly remodeled daylight basement flooded over the foundation wall. JJ and her crew responded immediately upon my call to ServiceMaster. They did a thorough job of tearing out and wet and non-repairable building materials, and dried out the new carpet with dehumidifiers.

ServiceMaster had completed all work prior to our insurance claims adjuster being able to come evaluate the damage. If it had not been for JJ’s quick action, more damage would have certainly happened, such as the growth of mold in the building.

JJ carefully documented everything, including taking extensive photos of the inside and outside of the property, assuring us that care was being taken to keep track of everything that was happening. We are very grateful to JJ.

Throughout this ordeal, JJ made herself available to us 24 hours a day, even providing us with her personal cell phone number. With my busy schedule, I found myself calling her as early as 7:00am and as late as 8:00pm at night, sharing my concerns and getting clarification about what work was taking place at the property. JJ not only returned calls promptly, she went above and beyond what was expected of her.

This is not the first time JJ has shown this kind of professionalism. She has worked on other claims at other rental properties of ours over the past few years.

Please accept this as a letter of deep gratitude to JJ and your company. If we ever need ServiceMaster’s services in the future, I will be requesting JJ and her team to respond.
